Mint oil or clove oil (1 spoon) – it is an additional ingredient, which refreshes scent and taste. It can be skipped.

How to prepare home made toothpaste from coconut oil?

Preparation of natural and safe toothpaste with coconut oil isn’t problematic. All the ingredients have to be mixed till they create consistent texture. Because of coconut consistency you need to spend an extra moment for mixing to be sure that baking soda and xylitol combine with the fat. Toothpaste should be kept in a locked jar, from which you can take some on a toothbrush or directly on teeth with your finger. It is not necessary to keep product in fridge, because coconut oil is a solid oil.
